Shepherds feature prominently in Scripture both in literal and figurative context. Some of Scriptures’ most prominent characters served time as shepherds, including Moses and David. There are many lessons we can learn from the relationship between shepherds and their sheep. Our great shepherd is our Lord Jesus and we are his sheep. We have complete faith and trust in him and await for him to gather us unto himself.
